We're opening the doors to our workshop to give you a
rare opportunity to see REAL dinosaurs up close,
touch them with your own hands,
and help us unbury them from the past.
From the moment of discovery to when it reaches our prep lab, our team is focused on our find.
Whether it is a full dinosaur or an individual bone, the same care goes into all aspects of the restoration process.
We have an amazing team of highly skilled professionals that work to ensure everything is prepared and mounted with the utmost of accuracy and respect to the scientific importance of each piece. In fact, we work very closely with some of the world's most respected palaeontologists to ensure that our work is done right.
We really love what we do, and it shows.
Before we start carefully extracting the fossil from the surrounding rock, our team carefully logs all of the measurements and details of the specimen.
From the rock we carefully remove,
to the number of missing pieces we recreate using advanced 3D printing technology,
our staff are leaders in the fossil preservation industry.
After months, sometimes years, of work we begin the rewarding process of creating a unique mounting frame for the specimen. This includes looking at the size of the specimen, how it would have moved in real life, and where it will be displayed.
Shortly after mounting, our specimens make their way to their final destination, often enjoyed by many in some of the most well-known museums in the world.
Our gift shop is open to everyone.
Stop by between 10am and 5pm from Saturday and Sunday, and 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
to see our collection of specimens, gems, science kits,
and gifts for the kids (small and big) on your list.
